Welcome

Good Friends of The First State is a women's organization that raises funds annually at our Day of Good Friends luncheon to offer one-time, limited monetary assistance to Delaware women in need.  Our grants provide financial stability for those in crisis.

We strive to be Good Friends to our community and each other

Good Friends of The First State provides financial assistance to women who are on the brink.   We help those struggling to make ends meet by offering a hand up.  We come together annually to open our hearts, raise awareness of local needs, enjoy camaraderie, and focus on giving.​

Only a licensed mental health or healthcare professional, social worker or case manager from agencies/organizations throughout Delaware can submit an Application for monetary assistance on behalf of women and girls in need.  ​

Good Friends of The First State is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is governed by a Board of Directors.  All donations are tax-deductible
